At the latest since the UK's departure from the Customs Union and the Single Market from 1 January 2021, mobility between the UK and the EU has changed fundamentally. The exchange of goods, the transport of artworks and instruments, as well as the framework conditions for professional artists have changed a lot on both sides of the border.
Since there has been little or no data on the proportion of projects moving between the UK and Germany since Brexit, we are asking for your help in building up an initial database. This short questionnaire is intended to collect initial comparative data on the extent to which the project density or the density of artistic projects has changed before and after Brexit.
We would be very grateful if you could take a few moments to answer a few questions. We would also be very interested in hearing about concrete experiences of working with British artists against the background of the Brexit. For this, you can leave us a contact in the questionnaire or write us an email at d.lindenblatt@touring-artists.info .
On the one hand, this information will help us to improve our service and advisory offer, but more importantly, this data will serve us to proactively lobby on a political level in the long term. This work is important for us in Germany as well as for our partner organisations in the UK. To do this, however, we need a solid knowledge base on the current situation.
If you have any questions, we would be pleased to hear from you. Thank you for your attention
